The DD1500 series starts with a powerful shorting ring equipped motor design that uses a 50mm thick magnet section, fully machined steel plates, and a 12mm deep highly focused magnet gap. The high energy motor drives the lightest, high strength moving parts optimized for low distortion even at extreme output demands.
The suspension in a subwoofer takes real abuse, so the DD1500 series uses track proven spider and surround materials that you′ll also find in our more robust subs. These subs also use the best coil wire, glues, and assembly methods in construction symbolizing DD′s dedication to long term performance and value.
